An anniversary celebration...
Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church in
Groton, CT, is celebrating their 150th
anniversary this year.  One of the ways they
wanted to commemorate it was to have
shirts made.  They sent us the photo to the
right.  We removed the power lines, cropped
it and sent it to be digitized.  A photo of the
stitched t-shirt is to the far right.
...Banners...
...Gifts for Special Friends
The banner pictured to the left
represents the submarine, USS
Hawaii.  This was created by
family members of the boat, a
group called the Hawaii Ohana.
One of the wives, Lee Hannah
Allen, asked me to embroider
the lettering "USS HAWAII" in
black so that they could stitch it
onto the banner.  It's obvious
that a lot of time, effort and love
was put into it.  They did a great
job!  It looks very impressive
hanging in the Shepherd of the
Sea Chapel in Groton, CT.
A graduating high school senior asked me to
embroider four blankets. She had one for
herself and one for each of her three closest
friends.  She wanted each of their names
embroidered on a corner of each of the
blankets.  What a nice way to remember
your friends after graduation!
Family Reunions...
Do you have an idea
of what you'd like on
your shirts?  Or
maybe you need help
coming up with
something?  Either
way, let us know your
thoughts and we'll
make it happen!
...To Celebrate a New Baby...
You guessed it!
This baby is
breast-fed!  Think
of the fun things
you could put on
clothing that you
won't ever find in a
store!!
...Milestone Birthday Celebrations
This was taken last September when we celebrated my mom's 75th
birthday.  About 100 people attended and because my sisters and I didn't
know all of them, we wore shirts that would identify us as Mom's
daughters.  Mom always introduces us with our name, where we fall
age-wise between the 4 of us, and where we live (my oldest 2 sisters live
out of state).  For example, she introduces me:  "This is Sandy, daughter
#4, she lives next door".  Below left is a pic of what was embroidered on
my shirt.  My sisters each had a different flower with their own information.
Each of our 4 shirts had the line "Mom likes me best!".  On Mom's shirt, I
stitched all 4 flowers, linked together with ovals around them to show we
all belong together!  If Mom wasn't available to introduce us to some of
her friends, they would know us by our shirt and approach us!  It was a
really fun time.  Thanks to my sister Diane for coming up with that great
idea!
Everyone that knows our mom knows that she loves
bluebirds.  As a gift to her, I stitched bluebirds on all 4
corners of a table cloth (pictured to the right)--we used this at
her party.

Weddings....
Here is a photo (above) of the ring
bearer's pillow that I made for my
niece's wedding.  The attendants
wore green and carried daisies.
We monogrammed pillow cases for
them.  We knew Heather was fond of
daisies, so we added them to dress
them up a bit (right).
We decided to go with a fun font for
the monogram on their set of towels
(photo to the left).
Heather and Al are huge St. Louis
Blues hockey fans!  We decided to
have some fun and design a screen
to make shirts for them!  On the front,
I embroidered a cute little guy named
"Toothy Puck"--of course, he has the
colors of the St. Louis Blues!
I had a customer call me with a very unique request.  He and his fiancee are getting married soon and because
they have a lot of friends and family up and down the east coast, they decided to have a ceremony and celebrate
in several different citiesover a two-week period.  He asked me about printing t-shirts for their guests, but not just
your ordinary t-shirt...a t-shirt fashioned after a concert t-shirt!  They had their photo taken in a music store,
holding guitars and tamborines and sitting at a drum set.  We were able to remove the background and placed a
red curtain behind them and lit them up with a spotlight.  They came up with a name of their "band" using both of
their first names, gave us a list of the dates and locations where they would be celebrating and asked what we
could do with the theme:  "The Wedding Tour 2007".  Below are photos of the t-shirts that we came up with.
We printed the t-shirts on
our digital direct-to-garment
printer.
By the way, their invitations were fashioned after concert tickets!

We're always up for a challenge--give us a call with your ideas!
